After the 1962 State Champs, the 1963 Track and Field team repeated as PIAA Class B State Champions. The team defeated Camp Hill by a score of 22-18. Members of the team earning the trip to states were Gary Beerbower in the shot put; Don Bliss in the discus; Dick Gregg in the mile and mile relay; Bob Lee in the mile relay, Jim New in the shot put; Art Norman in the long jump: Bill Ramsdell in the mile, 880 and mile relay; Steve Rouse in the 880 and mile relay; and Bill Wilkins in the javelin. Bill Ramsdell repeated as state champ in the mile and was second in the 880. Bill Wilkins was state champion in the javelin. Dick Gregg was 3rd in the mile, Steve Rouse was 3rd in the 880, and Don Bliss was 4th in the discus. The coaches of the team were Ted Miller and Bob Wall. The 1964 track and field team made it to a threepeat as they won the PIAA Class B state championship. They scored 21 points as Columbia school district finished 2nd with 18. Members of the team earning the trip to states were Gary Beerbower in the shotput; Don Bliss in the discus and shotput; Jeff Buchholz in the 220; Ed Concilla in the javelin; Dick Gregg in the mile and mile relay; Greg Henderson in the mile, 880, and mile relay; Jack Norris in the 110 high hurdles; Steve Rouse in the 880 and mile relay; and Steve Seblink in the mile relay. Don Bliss was state champion in the discus and picked up 3rd in the shot put; Dick Gregg was runner up in the mile; Greg Henderson was 3rd in the mile and 5th in the 880; Steve Rouse was 3rd in the 880; and Jeff Buchholz was 4th in the 220.
